Historically, it is significant for housing the Argus newspaper for 30 years, and represents its major physical legacy.  Widely known as a conservative newspaper for most of its history, it adopted a left-leaning approach from 1949. The Argus for news, sport, Brighton and Hove Albion, entertainment, video, blogs and for Brighton Hove Lewes Worthing Shoreham Newhaven and Sussex. It is still a work-in-progress but it is good to see this building finally getting some love. It has been a challenging journey restoring the iconic building to its grandeur, and one that we are very proud of.
