Cybertruck is built with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and passenger protection.

Starting with a nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for superior strength and endurance, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin to Tesla armor glass. Tesla stock was trading down Thursday. Not likely.

An April Fools joke about Tesla redesigning the Cybertruck is being taken seriously by media outlets and even Wall Street, but not without somewhat of a good reason.

Production of the Tesla Cybertruck was supposed to start in late 2021, but the last-minute redesign means Tesla's first electric pickup truck will be delayed until April 1, 2023.

But with the unibody Tesla Cybertruck, to increase the towing capacity, it had to use as big of a sail pillar as possible, explaining the unconventional design.

Is a redesign of the avant-garde Cybertruck the reason? Such speculation isn’t a big deal.
